Events of 2025

The Season started a little early this year with three Vassar College Choirs singing in the Mine on May 10th!

We are looking forward to the our 35th year of association with Taiko Masala’s traditional Japanese Drumming, Saturday, July 26th. Theatre on the Road’s Dracula will be chilling your blood for 4 performances in early October! We are also cooking up some other events, more as details as they get nailed down!

Set your F-Stop to 1.4 or less, bring a tripod and discover the beauty of the Widow Jane Mine, the trails, the sculptures, the pond, the slip, the kilns, the spillway! The Synder Estate also has many suitable subjects for drawing and painting: the pillars of the Widow Jane Mine, the ruins of factory buildings and kilns, the nature trails, artworks, and more.
